UPDATE: About 200 Corps Members Yet to Get Paid in Akwa Ibom State

Over 200 corps members are yet to receive their April federal allowance in Akwa Ibom State. The state chapter of the NYSC started paying on the 15^th of May, 2013.
But as at 21^st May, about 200 corps members mainly from the Uyo zone were yet to receive their allowance. The management of NYSC could not give a concrete reason for the delay, but promised to pay before Friday 24^th. 

In my report last week, I said some Corps members were yet to receive bank alert. The situation remains the same as at the time of writing this report.
